Here we go again, as usual Chocolates, teddy bear, and flowers are all in today, coz this are the common gifts we give to our love ones. But sometimes, we need to think something different, for us to surprise our partners..
Here are some romantic and unforgettable ideas for Valentine’s Day.
- Plan an unforgettable spa night
Want to pamper your partner? Set up a spa night at home that she or he won’t soon forget.
Start off by cooking a light, healthy dinner with chilled Champagne or wine.
Then, cover your bed or couch with towels and give your partner a massage using luxurious massage oils.
Next, light some candles, draw a bubble bath and enjoy a soak together.
Spa night is a great night not only to pamper the person you love, but also to create a romantic atmosphere for the evening.
- Create a one-of-a-kind book
If you want to commemorate your relationship on Valentine’s Day, consider creating a memory book for your partner.
Gather pictures and mementos — such as ticket stubs, pressed flowers or matchbooks — from throughout your relationship and write out your favourite memories of things you did.
Use one of various online speciality book services to turn the words and images into a bound souvenir of your love.
For a more personal touch, you can put everything together in a handmade scrapbook.
- Organize a spur-of-the-moment getaway
Surprise your partner and escape the humdrum of daily life on Valentine’s Day by taking a spur-of-the-moment vacation.
Search discount travel sites for discounts for a short excursion or find discounted hotel rooms in the area.
Getting out of a normal routine and experiencing something new together is a great way to ramp up romance for the holiday.
- Prepare a sumptuous meal
Get the home fires burning by cooking your partner a lavish, romantic meal at home.
Make a list of your partner’s favourite foods or ingredients, then do some research for recipes that include those ingredients.
Prepare three courses — an appetizer, entrée and dessert, and pair each with a nice wine, Champagne or speciality cocktail. This is a gift that you’ll get to enjoy together!
- Devise a romantic scavenger hunt
For a more adventurous Valentine’s Day, plan a scavenger hunt through your hometown for your significant other.
Mark a map with all of your most special places.
Then, go to each of those places and leave a gift and note for him or her there.
Wait at the final destination on the scavenger hunt, since you’re the most romantic gift of all!
Hope it will help, but remember it’s the thought that counts. Whether you plan a last-minute getaway or something romantic and unexpected at home, why not do something that will surprise and delight your partner like never before.

Hello! Cool post, amazing!!!
One year, I had told the person I was seeing numerous times about how excited I was about Valentine s Day, but when the day came, he did nothing. My best Valentine s Day memory is when my boyfriend secretly preloaded a mix CD in my car for me to listen to on my way to work of different love songs that we shared.
