Fresh, Glowy Skin
Ditch your full coverage foundation and opt for a lighter, natural tinted moisturizer. The aim is to make your skin look natural and fresh instead of camouflaged and cakey. You can always add concealer in the places you need a little more help. Finally be sure to set your t-zone with a light sweep of translucent powder, to ensure your base stays in place all night.
Bat Them Lashes
As they say eyes are the windows to our soul, so be sure to enhance them. If you are going to play up your eyes this Valentine’s Day, lashes are everything, so keep them full, flirty and fluttery. For a pretty day time, no-makeup look keep lashes natural and soft with just a slick of clear mascara. For a more glamorous sexy look, take things up a notch by adding lashings of mascara.
Kissable lips
Prep your lips with a hydrating and moisturising lip balm, this will smooth and soften any chapped skin. Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to pull out the reds and pinks, so don’t be afraid to wear a bold lip. To help your lippy stay in place we always recommend lining your lips and building up the colour in thin layers (try a matte finish or stain for a dinner date as they are longer lasting and you won’t have to disappear to top up in-between courses). If the prospect of a bold lip seems a bit too much for your plans, you can always opt for a more subtle nude shade or even a pretty girly gloss.
Keep Calm and contour like a Kardashian
The thought of Contouring and highlighting can seem scary but it’s easier than you may think. Done correctly you will have sculpted model cheekbones in no time. It’s all about the right tools and products. If in doubt always start of softly with less product and build up if needed (remember less is more).
