Chicdriven Women Empowerment Expo had its final leg at the Alabang Town Center last Oct 1 and 2, 2016 and has been witnessed by almost two thousand mall enthusiasts. This 2 day expo showcased on how you can make your life easier on the road, at home, and financially.

Presented by Mazda Philippines and Shell Fuel Save and organized by Jeanette Ipapo –Tuason, the author of Chicdriven website and column in the Philippine Daily Inquirer and host/actress Issa Litton, they bring together passionate people to share, empower and inspire women to “have It all”.

The expo been officially opened by Tuason, Litton, Mazda’s Steven Tan, Alabang Town Center’s Rori Santos, New Mom Vanessa Matsunaga- Sunga, GAD Muntinlupa’s Trina Biazon and Zonta Club of Alabang President Cristine San Juan; followed by a breast cancer awareness talk by Survivor Alya Honasan and Dr. Cecilia Llave.

In Celebration of Breast Cancer month, the Expo had this program called “Dibdib ko, Alaga ko”. In cooperation with Zonta Club Alabang and the Gender and Development Office of Muntinlupa they provided free breast cancer screening and breast cancer awareness seminar.

“Even if you are busy it is not an excuse to not look your best and be healthy “ said by Better You speakers Calyxta Art Director Margaux Cortez, L’Oreal Chief Make Up Artist Verna Marin, and Bikini Athlete and health advocate Hilary Isaac in their seminar.

Home Hacks presented by PLDT Home started a talk with Monique Ong, Author of An ounce of Faith about relationships followed by Michelle Aventajado and Kathy Kenny Ngo with a panel discussion on how to make your relationship with your family better. “Mothers Who Brunch” dúo Michelle Aventajado and Sabrina Go did a food demo and treated the guest to some yummy yet healthy food.

JP Tuason, a champion racecar driver and Tuason Racing School President taught the attendees on how to be a responsible driver at the Road Safety Seminar. He also taught them on how to be familiar with their car’s function.

Michele Alignay and Dazzle Ng started the Sunday morning with a seminar called “Parenting in the Digital Age” As a Psychologist & Co-Author of “Growing Up Wired” and author of theAsianparent.com, Michele and Dazzle addressed the common concerns of parents on how to cope up with today’s fast-paced lifestyle. They also focused on how to control kid’s exposure to digital media, not to risk their development but to keep them away from harmful contents.
Athlete and TV Presentor, Gretchen Ho had a jampacked seminar called “I Love Me” which aimed teens and young women to know the importance of maintaining integrity on one’s personality and character by controlling your presence in the social media.

Beauty Queen turned Entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Miriam Quiambao-Roberto, shared her Spending Jar Philosophy which allows you to assign resources in different parts of your growth in the Financial Wellness seminar. Jane Kingsu-Cheng, Editor-in-chief of Working Mom Magazine gave out “street wise tips” on your day to day activities.
